Bollywood and Tollywood stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna created a stir during a temple visit in Anantapur while filming their upcoming period drama Ranabaali. The newlyweds, celebrating their one-month anniversary, were surrounded by fans, turning a serene outing into a viral moment.

Videos circulating online show Vijay shielding Rashmika as fans surged around the couple, with security personnel working to manage the crowd. Rashmika was seen clutching Vijay’s waist while he ensured her safety, yet both smiled and waved to fans, also receiving blessings from temple priests before being safely guided to their vehicle.

For the visit, Vijay wore a simple cream kurta while Rashmika chose a blue suit set, creating a festive yet understated look. After the temple, the duo resumed shooting for Ranabaali, greeted by a traditional harathi ceremony by the production team.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is a historical action drama set between 1854 and 1878, depicting resistance against colonial rule and the impact of the Great Indian Famine. Vijay stars in the lead role, with Rashmika portraying his wife, Jayamma, and Arnold Vosloo as the antagonist. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 11, 2026.

This marks the third collaboration between the couple, following Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, and their first project together since their wedding in February. Off-screen, Rashmika is set to appear in Cocktail 2 and the Telugu film Mysaa, while Vijay prepares for his next Telugu project, Rowdy Janardhana.
