Nauman Ijaz had previously commented that he avoids heavy makeup, focusing instead on bringing authenticity to his roles. He contrasted himself with actors like Humayun Saeed and Faisal Qureshi, suggesting they rely more on makeup for leading roles.
Responding publicly for the first time, Qureshi emphasized that he believes Ijaz’s comment was never meant to belittle anyone. Smiling, he acknowledged Ijaz’s natural looks, noting that he may not require makeup at all. Qureshi added that Ijaz was likely highlighting his dedication to character-driven performances, whereas actors like Qureshi frequently portray hero roles.
