Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her apartment in Karachi’s Defence Phase 6 on Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement confirmed.

Police officials reported that the discovery was made when a court bailiff, accompanied by officers, arrived at the flat located in Ittehad Commercial Area to enforce an eviction order due to unpaid rent. With no response from within, authorities forced entry around 3:15 PM and found Ali’s lifeless body on the floor.

According to preliminary findings, the actor had been living in isolation for the past seven years. There were no immediate signs of forced entry or foul play, although a detailed post-mortem examination has been ordered to ascertain the cause of death.

Forensic teams collected evidence from the scene, and the body was transported to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for further examination.

Ali was best known for her appearance on the reality television show Tamasha Ghar, and also had a role in the feature film Jalaibee. She maintained a quiet presence in the entertainment industry and had reportedly stepped back from public appearances in recent years.

The back-to-back deaths have stirred conversation about the isolation and mental health challenges faced by aging or lesser-active actors in the Pakistani showbiz industry.
