Former actress Noor Bukhari has shared her concern over her six-year-old daughter being bullied at school for wearing a hijab. Taking to Instagram, Noor recounted the emotional incident, revealing that her daughter insisted on wearing the hijab to school, only to return upset after classmates made fun of her choice.

“My daughter, who is six years old, wanted to wear hijab to school today and insisted on it, so I let her. Now when she came back, she said all the kids made fun of her. I never pushed my daughters to wear hijab; when Allah wants, they will,” Noor wrote in her Instagram Story.

She also reflected on a similar experience with her elder daughter, who, after facing bullying at age seven, stopped wearing the hijab entirely. Noor expressed sadness over the lack of religious sensitivity among children today and questioned whether such behavior stems from parenting or broader societal influences.

“I want to ask who is responsible for this behavior – the mothers or the society we live in, jo deen se belkul door hain afsos,” she wrote, highlighting her concern for the environment in which children are growing up.

Noor Bukhari, once a prominent figure in Pakistani cinema and television, has stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her family. She continues to share glimpses of her life on social media, balancing motherhood while engaging with her fans.
