Saboor Aly shared that she learned about her pregnancy while abroad, away from her husband, Ali Ansari. Reports indicate she was in Turkey at the time, and Ali joined her a few days later. She described the moment as overwhelming, saying she was “shivering with mixed feelings” of joy, fear, and anticipation.
Although Ali was not present during the initial days, Saboor revealed that her thoughts immediately turned to her late mother. She expressed that even in her absence, she felt her mother’s spiritual presence, which provided her comfort during this life-changing phase.

Saboor Aly lost her mother in 2017 after a battle with cancer. Both Saboor and her sister, Sajal Aly, have often spoken about the pivotal role Rahat Begum played in shaping their careers and personal strength. In an emotional Instagram story, Saboor wrote: “If life gave me a chance, I would like to rewrite my mother’s life story because she deserves so much more than what life gave her.”
